WORK HARD... PLAY HARD...

As a Summer Staff employee at Bonita Park, you will be trained to help children and teens overcome their fears, gain self-confidence, and create lasting memories while you grow as a servant. This occurs through daily work including: Zipline, Rockwall, Rappeling, Campfires, Hikes, Archery, Gym, Challenge Courses, Snack Shack, Housekeeping, General Grounds and Maintenance, Food Service and
even washing dishes! Through working in these areas you will gain a sense of teamwork, a servant’s heart, new skills and lifetime hobbies! You will work hard and play even harder at Bonita Park! In addition to wages, you are also provided free housing and fabulous camp meals. When you come here, your basic needs are supplied - you don’t even need a vehicle on the grounds. Unlike other camps, your average work week is 40 hours. If you work more, overtime is paid. Additionally, we give recruitment bonuses and travel allowances - Apply Today!

WHAT PAST SUMMER STAFFERS SAID ABOUT
BONITA PARK...

“It is amazing how one summer can change your life. Three things God taught me were: to be open and to be molded by Him through many venues (i.e. scrubbing toilets), humility and that the people here care about your spiritual and personal growth.”

                                   - Carla (2000, 2001, 2002 and currently serves as
                                                 Guest Services Director
)

"Bonita Park is an amazing place to work for the summer. You get to run incredibly fun activities and interact with guests. It is not an easy job, it is a lot of work, but the community that you become a member of and the lives that you will touch are all worth it."

                                   - Andria (1998, 1999, 2000-2007)

"I like it here because this is where I got saved during Teen Camp."

                                   - Felecia (2006, 2007 and currently year-round
                                                     employee
)

“My fondest memory is while working in the dining room a camper came up to me, gave me a sucker and thanked me for being here and caring about them!”

                                   - Andrew (2007)

"Being a summer staffer has taught me to focus my priorities in life and to live more simply. It has also given me compassion and more wisdom in dealing with people."

                                   - Destry (2007)

"I grew closer to God by being around people that love God. This has become a home away from home - I love it!"

                                   - Karen (2001, 2006, 2007and currently year-round                                                       employee)
