MASTER PLAN FOR
BONITA PARK'S FUTURE

The master plan is a tool used in planning for the future. It gives the camp direction to provide resources as needed to fulfill our mission. We believe that the physical setting and buildings are not the end but the means, a tool to minister to the spiritual, emotional and social growth of the individual, family, and community. The purpose is not only to provide the place but an experience; an experience that will be a significant event in each individual's life.

We trust the God of the universe to reveal His timeline for project implementation and completion. As the financial resources become available, projects will be initiated.

Naming opportunities exist for various components of the master plan. For additional information contact the Development Director at 575-336-4404.

WAYS TO GIVE

THE FUTURE OF BONITA PARK

In 2003, the camp worked with a professional planning group to develop a master plan for Bonita Park. The master plan is a long and short term plan of action to expand the ministry of Bonita Park as a tool to increase the kingdom of Christ on this Earth. Components include an additional lodge, new gym, prayer garden, water slide, miniature

golf, children’s play area, and waste water treatment plant. The plan is designed so the buildings and grounds will most efficiently facilitate the needs of the group that come for retreats, revival, camps, seminars, and workshops.

This artist rendering shows a view from the ball field with a new gymnasium featured with outdoor basketball, sand volleyball and a waterslide. The new adult lodge is on the right with Morris Center and Armstrong toward the back left.

This is a view of the pool building on the far right with the addition of a new adult lodge on the left. The grassy, green space is identified as the Village Green and will be an area for field games. The Village Green is also home to a band shell with a water feature flowing to the Prayer Pond.

This view highlights the existing Prayer Pond and Brick Garden. The new three level gym is on the right side. A parking area has been added between the pond and the pool building for access to the gym, pool and pond area. The backside of the band shell reveals the water feature which flows to the pond.
